Field Sales Operations Manager - National

Background – FMCG Convenience / RETAIL PHARMACY / FIELD SALES / RETAIL STORES MERCHANDISING

Territory: National | Reference: KSP/COMB

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Operations Manager - National. The role focuses on managing a field team, driving sales, maintaining high standards, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

This multifaceted role requires liaising, reporting, and supporting the leadership team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading, motivating, and developing the team to ensure store excellence and customer service.
  2. Ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
  3. Auditing the field team and conducting field visits.
  4. Providing constructive feedback, addressing poor performance, and celebrating successes.
  5. Coaching, training, and onboarding new team members.
  6. Building relationships with the field team and customers.
  7. Driving sales in the field teams.
  8. Effective time management and report submission.
  9. Maintaining excellent communication skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong personal integrity and decision-making skills.
  • National travel, approximately 4 days a week in the field.
  • Experience managing field sales teams.
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills to develop relationships with teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with good time management.
  • Team player with collaborative skills.
  • Resilient, determined, and proactive in resolving issues.
  • Ability to handle conflicts confidently.
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual skills advantageous.
  • Education up to GCSE level.
  • Experience visiting retail outlets.
  • Proficient in IT systems (Word, Excel, Email).
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.

Remuneration:

  • Competitive annual salary with end-of-year bonus (£50,000 - £55,000 OTE).
  • Vehicle allowance, mobile phone, and laptop.
