Field Sales Operations Manager National

Background: FMCG Convenience / RETAIL PHARMACY / FIELD SALES / RETAIL STORES MERCHANDISING

Territory: National | Reference: KSP/COMB

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Operations Manager (National). The role focuses on managing a field team, driving sales, maintaining high standards, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. The manager will liaise with leadership, report on activities, and support team development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve store excellence and customer service standards.
  2. Ensure compliance and best practices are followed.
  3. Audit the field team and conduct field visits as per company expectations.
  4. Provide constructive feedback, address poor practices, and recognize successes.
  5. Coach, train, and onboard new team members.
  6. Build relationships with the team and customers.
  7. Drive sales through effective team management.
  8. Manage time efficiently and complete required reports.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong integrity with sound judgment and influence skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally, approximately 4 days a week in the field.
  • Experience managing field sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated with good time management.
  • Team player with collaboration skills.
  • Persistent, problem-solving attitude.
  • Confident in handling conflicts and difficult situations.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual skills advantageous.
  • Education up to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience with retail outlet visits is preferred.
  • Proficient in IT systems (Word, Excel, Email).
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Remuneration & Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary with end-of-year bonus.
  • OTE £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
  • Vehicle allowance, business mobile, and laptop.
  • Auto-enrollment pension after 3 months.
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
