Job summary

The AA is seeking a Commercial Training Manager to blend hands-on driver training with operational leadership across Drivetech's trainer network. You will recruit, coach and oversee trainer quality while partnering with Account Managers, Product and planning teams to strengthen delivery and standards.

You will work with DVSA, police and senior leaders across the AA to ensure excellent customer outcomes, resilience and business continuity.

Qualifications

• DVSA registered ADI status with classroom and in-vehicle training experience.
• Experience assessing, coaching and delivering structured feedback.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead trainer selection, recruitment and induction with bookings teams.
• Oversee Trainer Quality Monitoring and CPD to maintain high standards.
• Address quality concerns with clear guidance and improvement actions.
• Deliver commercial driver training, inductions and upskills as needed; maintain competence as an Approved Driving Instructor.
• Collaborate with Product, Account Managers and planning teams to embed training products.
• Use feedback and data to drive CPD, improvements and customer excellence.
• Build relationships across internal and external stakeholders and provide operational cover when required.
