Job summary

ISS UK Limited seeks a national Technical Services Manager to lead Hard FM and electrical engineering services across the account. The role combines people leadership, technical oversight, compliance, and customer relationship management, with hands-on involvement in operations and occasional site travel.

You will manage a team of engineers, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive performance against SLAs and KPIs while delivering high quality facility services for a dispersed client

Qualifications

• Suitably electrically qualified.
• Technically competent in electrical building services.
• Strong Hard FM and Technical Services experience.
• Good understanding of electrical compliance requirements.
• Experience managing engineering teams and service performance.
• Strong knowledge of SLAs and KPIs.
• Ability to develop, support and manage engineers effectively.
• Experience of technical and infrastructure projects, including planned shutdowns.
• Willingness to remain operationally involved rather than purely desk-based.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Hard FM and Technical Services across the national account.
• Manage a team of approximately eight engineers, including four mobile and four static engineers.
• Provide leadership and support to the Lead Engineer and wider engineering team.
• Take ownership of electrical technical performance across the contract.
• Ensure compliance standards, SLAs and KPIs are achieved and maintained.
• Act as the technical escalation point for engineering issues and support planned shutdowns and infrastructure works.
• Undertake and hold Authorised Person (AP) responsibilities, ensuring engineering activities are carried out safely and compliantly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while driving high standards of technical service delivery across the account.
