Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd is recruiting a National Electrical Manager. The role oversees electrical testing and inspection compliance, provides technical guidance to maintenance teams, and supports customer relationships across a nationwide contract.

Responsibilities include driving compliance, reporting, and delivering cost-effective servicing while adhering to health and safety policies. Strong leadership, CAFM system experience, and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level at minimum; NVQ3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance
• City and Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
• City and Guilds 2381 18th Edition

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement plans to improve electrical performance and compliance.
• Support field technicians with on-site knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Communicate regularly with the customer on FM electrical strategies and agendas.
• Participate in meetings with line management to report progress and align City communications.
• Assist Head of Compliance on technical, people and FM process issues.
• Complete specified reports and compliance documentation; monitor and action issues.
• Audit FM documentation and address non-compliance; review 10% of electrical certifications monthly.
• Prioritise remedial works from statutory PPM tasks and maintain status records.
• Handle Help Desk requests promptly and escalate as needed.
• Process requests using the mercury system accurately.
• Provide technical support for technicians and field managers.
