Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is recruiting a Business Development Manager / Bid Manager for a national role in the UK construction and refurbishment sectors. You will own the national business development remit, identify new clients, secure opportunities, and build strong relationships with end users, contractors and decision-makers.

The role requires proven BD or bid management experience, commercial acumen and the ability to work autonomously across a national territory.

Qualifications

• Experience in building or construction industries is essential.
• Proven track record in securing new business and managing bids.
• Strong understanding of margins and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop a national business plan to drive growth and margin targets.
• Identify and win new clients and opportunities within refurbishment/construction sectors.
• Deliver CPD presentations and provide technical guidance to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage proposals, quotations and project quotes from start to finish.
• Maintain council-approved status and nurture long-term customer relationships.
