Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. seeks a National Business Development Manager – Water Distribution to drive strategic growth with Tier 1 and Tier 2 M&E contractors.

You will position a complete pipe and fittings system for water distribution in commercial and multi-occupancy buildings. Based on a national remit with a focus on the North, you will build relationships at site, procurement and board level, win live projects, and grow a project base that feeds specification over time.

Qualifications

• Track record of strategic, top-down business development with Tier 1 and Tier 2 M&E contractors.
• Knowledge of water distribution in commercial/high-rise buildings or contractor-led HVAC/plumbing/electrical background.
• Established network of contractor contacts.
• Full UK driving licence.

National Business Development Manager – Water Distribution

• Take a market-leading water distribution system into Tier 1 and Tier 2 M&E contractors
• A strategic new business role in a growing team, backed by a well-known building services brand
• £65,000-£70,000 basic plus up to 30% commission and an electric or hybrid company car

The role:

You will introduce a complete pipe and fittings system for water distribution in commercial and multi-occupancy buildings, including hospitals, schools, leisure facilities and high-rise residential. The system runs from the plant room, through risers and headers, to apartment and corridor applications, and is built around regulatory compliance.

Your focus is Tier 1 and Tier 2 M&E contractors. You will build relationships at site, procurement and board level, get the system onto live projects and grow a project base that feeds through to specification over time. This is a new business role, working alongside the wider sales and merchant teams who already know the market.

Location:

A national territory with a focus on the North. You will ideally live in the North of England or the Midlands.

Candidate requirements

• A track record of strategic, top-down business development with Tier 1 and Tier 2 M&E contractors
• Either knowledge of water distribution in commercial or high-rise buildings (valves, risers, systems), or a contractor-led background in HVAC, commercial plumbing and heating or electrical systems
• An established network of contractor contacts
• Full UK driving licence

• £65,000-£70,000 basic salary
• Up to 30% annual commission
