Job summary

MacGregor Black is partnering with an established food and snacking manufacturer to recruit a National Account Executive to support Morrisons, Asda, Aldi and Lidl.

Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, you will help deliver customer plans, keep account information accurate and own projects. The role offers exposure to both mainstream grocery and discounters and opportunities to grow responsibilities with digital and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Early commercial experience in FMCG, ideally supporting grocery or discounter accounts.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to explain numbers and actions.
• Familiarity with EPOS data or category insight tools such as Nielsen, Circana or retailer data portals would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support account planning, customer meetings, range reviews and the preparation of commercial proposals and presentations.
• Analyse sales, margin, promotional and category performance to spot trends, risks and opportunities, and turn them into clear recommended actions.
• Keep forecasts, pricing files, promotional plans, launch trackers and customer reporting accurate and up to date.
• Produce regular performance reports and dashboards for the commercial team and wider business.
• Coordinate samples, NPD timelines, specifications and customer requests with internal teams so deadlines are met.
