A leading food production company with a strong presence in London is looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with top-tier UK retail partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a pivotal part of the commercial team, you will:
- Develop and execute tailored strategies to drive growth and exceed account objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Take full ownership of customer accounts, managing promotions, pricing, distribution, and product visibility both in-store and online.
- Lead customer projects from concept to completion, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint.
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure smooth coordination with supply chain and logistics.
- Drive negotiations with confidence – from securing new listings to adjusting pricing and promotional plans.
- Monitor account performance, analyse data, generate insights, and proactively adjust plans to maximise outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience managing major UK grocery or retail accounts (minimum 2 years required).
- Strong commercial awareness, confident in interpreting data and translating it into actionable plans.
- Proven success in securing new business and expanding distribution opportunities.
- Skilled in negotiation, building rapport, and influencing decision-makers.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and NPD teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
