Job summary

Kraft Heinz in London is seeking a Buying Groups National Account Manager for the UK Retail Multiples team within Wholesale and Convenience. You will lead joint business planning across national buying groups and regional wholesalers, with travel and overnight stays expected.

You will build JBPs at national/local levels using robust data, negotiate to protect the P&L, and collaborate with internal teams. Strong analytical, selling, and customer-focus skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferred
  • Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience in customer relationship management skills are critical, and you are able to demonstrate the ability and confidence to sell commercial propositions, together with sound negotiation skills
  • Consistent track record of problem solving as an owner, taking on entrepreneurial challenges and simplifying the complex
  • Wholesale selling or buying experience is desirable

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Buying Groups National Account Manager at Kraft Heinz. The role sits in the Kraft Heinz UK Retail Multiples team, within the Wholesale and Convenience Channel. This role is for someone with a strong commercial drive to deliver multiple external joint business plans, as well as someone with the ability to think strategically about the future of the Channel. We are looking for a candidate who is customer focused, analytical, with the resilience to own & execute the plan tailored to Wholesale.

What You’ll Be Doing
Managing a complex set of customers:

Responsibility for 30+ existing customers and distributors managing national buying groups and regional wholesalers. You’ll be expected to make regular visits to your key customers, attend trade shows and buying group commercial meetings across the breadth of the UK, so a willingness to embrace lots of travel and overnight stays is essential.

Executing the Commercial Plan:

Delivering solution-focused plans for your customers to drive an overall P&L of $10M+. You’ll engage in tough negotiations where you will have to think on your feet, take calculated risks and make effective commercial decisions under pressure. Working as a team player is an essential attribute.

Understanding your Business and Leveraging Financial Concepts:

You’ll be building JBP’s at a national and local level, based on robust data analysis and agreed KPI’s. Above all, you will be doing what’s right for Kraft-Heinz, always considering the impact of your decisions on other accounts and winning for the team as a whole.

Selling with Impact and Insights and Analytics:

Your strong data and analytical skills will allow you to use insights to build engaging stories that deliver a strong message and address your customer’s needs. You’ll work closely with your customers and other internal functions to plan the future strategic direction of your accounts, determining where to invest to win.
