Job Description:

National Account Manager (DIY & Distribution) – Building Products

Area to be covered: National (2 days home based)

Benefits: £9,000 annual car allowance or company car & full benefits

The role of the National Account Manager – Wood Products will involve:

  • Managing a high-quality range of engineered wood products as a National Account Controller
  • Managing, developing, and mentoring one direct report
  • Focusing on managing one of our largest DIY distribution accounts (B&Q)
  • Supporting new product launches and development
  • Implementing pricing strategies
  • Liaising with customer service, marketing, supply chain, and transport teams
  • Willingness to be nationally based with regular travel to Southampton
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven sales and account management experience
  • Experience managing large retail or DIY distribution accounts
  • Previous dealings with Kingfisher Group preferred
  • Experience selling timber or wood products is advantageous but not essential
  • Commercially astute with ability to establish sustainable contractual agreements
