The role is part of Carrier Rental Systems (a division of Carrier Corporation), one of the leading suppliers of temperature control rental equipment in the UK and Ireland. We are currently seeking a National Account Manager responsible for managing accounts and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Building and maintaining valuable relationships with existing customers
  2. Account management and long-term relationship development
  3. Negotiating contracts and SLAs
  4. Analyzing bid opportunities, preparing responses, and negotiating to secure projects
  5. Identifying potential opportunities with account teams to meet customer needs and expand our client base
  6. Collaborating with depot networks and Service Centre teams
  7. Continuing personal development in product and application knowledge
  8. Utilizing data systems, especially CRM, for effective account management
  9. Managing commercial aspects to ensure profitability
  10. Enhancing awareness of Carrier Rental Systems and its services within the region
  11. Providing reports on customer inquiries, hires, and sales activities

Qualifications for success:

  • Experience in sales or account management, ideally in the rental sector
  • UK driving license
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer-focused with a results-driven approach
