About the role

We have a vacancy for a National Account Manager within our Kerry Dairy Consumer Foods business, aimed at exceeding our customers' growth ambitions. Our commercial team offers excellent opportunities for development and career progression, with both branded and private label business in strong growth. Our head office is in Staines with a hybrid working model, but travel to customer offices and our sites across the UK is required.

The role involves managing and developing the account portfolio across multiple categories—brand and own label—and being accountable for key sales and profit KPIs in line with business goals.

Key responsibilities
  1. Deliver sales and margin budget targets for the designated customer portfolio.
  2. Ensure Joint Business Plans (JBP) are active, agreed upon by stakeholders, and reflect sales, profit, and brand objectives.
  3. Align account activities with targets and ensure coordination with other Kerry functions.
  4. Develop customer plans aligned with channel strategies to meet sales and margin goals, including revenue, distribution, wiring, activation, NPD listing, and implementation.
  5. Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure accurate sales forecasting.
  6. Keep the business informed of account, channel, and competitor developments.
  7. Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure proper contact and resource allocation.
  8. Ensure all pricing and commercial agreements align with Kerry strategies and are implemented with the customer.
  9. Work with Trade Marketing to develop activation plans that meet budgets and support Kerry Foods strategies.
