Job description

Salary: Competitive plus car/allowance, company bonus & pension

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Location: Home based with National travel

Key Responsibilities
  1. Secure, deliver & drive efficiencies and project delivery for our retail sector stakeholders.
  2. Use contract performance data to identify opportunities and focus areas.
  3. Develop and monitor KPIs/SLAs for continuous improvement.
  4. Manage client relationships end-to-end, including contractual and P&L responsibilities.
  5. Innovate in environmental and resource management contracts, staying ahead of sector best practices and legislation.
  6. Define and implement customer strategies to generate revenue growth and develop account plans.
  7. Maintain a Salesforce pipeline for business growth, development, and contract risk management.
  8. Manage customer expectations, SLAs, KPIs, and facilitate cross-selling of solutions.
  9. Implement customer journey strategies and stay informed on industry trends and customer objectives.
  10. Oversee account renewals, development, and stakeholder communication.
  11. Manage debt levels and support invoice dispute resolution.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience in account management with autonomy.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and target-driven skills.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation abilities, with commercial acumen.
  • Understanding of waste management, sustainability, or resource management is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
