Job summary

Keyman Personnel is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in drainage to join our national home services business. The role focuses on driving new business growth, developing national and key accounts, and building relationships with decision-makers.

You will work with Marketing, Finance and operations to convert opportunities into revenue, manage forecasts, and contribute to budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or business development experience within the drainage industry.
• Strong knowledge of drainage services and solutions.
• Experience winning and developing national or key accounts.
• Ability to generate and convert new business opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing sales pipelines and producing forecasts.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new business opportunities across national and key accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with key customer decision-makers
• Develop and manage a strong, active sales pipeline
• Identify new markets, customers and service opportunities
• Prepare and deliver commercial proposals and presentations
• Use networking, cold calling and other sales methods to generate qualified opportunities
• Develop strategies for new customer acquisition and account growth
• Support the wider network with national and key account opportunities
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity
• Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports and performance updates
• Work closely with Marketing, Finance and operational teams to support customers
• Contribute to budgets and wider business growth plans
• Ensure high standards of customer service and protect the reputation of the brand
