Job summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Power Electronics Engineer in Rugby to shape the design and development of next-generation megawatt-scale converter systems. Qualifications
- Degree in Power Electronics or related field; substantial experience in MW-scale converter design.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver MW-scale power electronics converters; specify, design and document converter systems.
- Model, simulate and analyse converter systems using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, PSpice, Mathcad, and CFD for thermal and EMI studies.
- Verify, validate and test LV/MV power electronics systems to standards and regulations.
- Provide cross-functional technical support with tendering, test, commissioning teams, customers and suppliers.
- Advance engineering practices with standards, tools and design practices.
