Low Carbon Recruitment are partnering with a long-established renewable services provider seeking an experienced MVHR / Ventilation Engineer to join their field operations.

You will service, fault-find, and upgrade MVHR/MEV/PIV systems across domestic properties and select commercial sites, ensuring compliance with building regulations. A company van, fuel card and training are provided, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ/Technical qualification in Ventilation, Plumbing or Building Services (desired).
• Experience working on MVHR/MEV/PIV systems (preferred - training available).
• Strong diagnostic ability across ventilation and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in airflow measurement and commissioning.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High personal standards for safety, compliance and workmanship.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo one.

Responsibilities

• Ventilation servicing — Planned maintenance, filter changes, deep cleans and performance checks
• Fault finding — Quickly identifying issues across mechanical, electrical and control components
• System replacements — Swap-outs and upgrades of failed or obsolete ventilation units
• Commissioning — Airflow testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with building regulations
• Technical reporting — Producing clear job notes, recommendations and follow-on work assessments
• Safety compliance — Working to industry standards, building regulations and internal H&S procedures
• Customer interaction — Communicating clearly with tenants, clients and site teams

MVHR / Ventilation Engineer - Renewable Ventilation Systems

Low Carbon Recruitment are currently partnered with a long-established renewable services provider who have been operating for over 25 years across the South, London & the Midlands. With a strong engineering team already in place supporting domestic social housing and commercial clients, they've built a reputation for quality, safety and reliable service. As the business continues to scale, they're now looking for an experienced Ventilation Engineer to join their field operations team.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys varied work, problem solving and being hands‑on with modern ventilation and heat recovery systems. You'll be carrying out servicing, deep cleans, fault finding and repairs across MVHR, MEV and PIV technologies, ensuring systems run efficiently and customers receive a first‑class service.

The work is purely on domestic properties with some commercial projects, but this is very limited for this role

You will be required to travel to the warehouse for van stock once every 2 weeks to begin with, the company is in the process of dealing with wholesalers so there will be drop off points to collect materials and load van stock so you won't have to travel into the ware house as often. A company van and fuel card are provided.

The Role

Salary & Package

• £50,000 - £55,500 depending on experience
• Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm
• Performance bonus (capped & uncapped options)
