Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking MV switchgear commissioning engineers to join our UK team. You will lead installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Eaton MV/HV equipment, serving as the main customer contact during projects from start to finish.

You will mentor other engineers, uphold a strong safety culture, and collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets while enhancing customer satisfaction. Travel across the EMEA region is expected.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning.
• Must be able to test and commission large MV to HV installations.
• Ability to perform protection relay programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton-manufactured MV and HV equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
