Job summary

Eaton is seeking skilled MV switchgear commissioning engineers to join our UK-based team. You will lead installation, commissioning, testing and fault-finding of Eaton MV/HV equipment, and be the main customer contact on projects.

Ideal candidates hold an Electrical Engineering degree, have experience with power distribution testing, testing large MV to HV installations, and are willing to travel across the EMEA region. A safety-first mindset and mentoring others are valued.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning.
• Ability to test and commission large Medium Voltage to High Voltage installations.
• Ability to perform protection relay programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton-manufactured MV and HV equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
