Job summary

Eaton Corporation in the United Kingdom is seeking skilled MV switchgear commissioning engineers to support installation, testing and maintenance across the region. You will lead on-site commissioning activities, ensuring safety and quality while delivering projects on time and to specification.

You will act as the main customer contact, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with project teams to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning.
• Ability to test and commission large MV to HV installations; protection relay programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton-manufactured MV and HV equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
