Job summary

Eaton is seeking MV switchgear commissioning engineers to join our UK team. You will lead installation, testing and commissioning of MV and HV equipment, serving as the main customer contact during projects and mentoring fellow engineers.

Role requires handling large MV/HV installations, protection relay programming, and willingness to travel across the EMEA region, contributing to a safety-first and excellence-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Requires Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning.
• Must be able to test and commission large MV to HV installations.
• Ability to perform protection relay programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and perform maintenance, commissioning, testing and fault finding of MV/HV equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering safety and excellence.
• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
