Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated Music Tutor to support SEMH/SEN learners in an Islington SEN school. You will deliver engaging music lessons to secondary students, helping them build confidence and emotional wellbeing through creative learning.

The role is part-time (two days a week, Thursday and Friday), with a pay rate of £110-£130 per day. An enhanced DBS is required, and you will collaborate with teachers to plan safe, structured lessons.

Proven background in Music or Teaching Music.
Ability to play an instrument.

About The Role

We are seeking an empathetic, creative and passionate Music Tutor to help support and deliver Music Lessons within an SEN School in Islington. You will be working with Secondary aged children and young people with SEMH needs and complex behavioural needs. Music plays a transformative role in these students educational and emotional development. In this role you will support and engage the pupils in Music lessons whilst helping to build themselves with confidence and high self-esteem. You will also plan adn resource for the delivery of safe and structured learning.
