About the Role

Teach Now is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a secondary school in Enfield and help make music an active and visible part of school life.

You will teach Music across KS3 and KS4, combining practical performance, composition, listening and musical theory. The school is looking for a teacher who can engage students with a wide variety of musical backgrounds and encourage both experienced musicians and complete beginners to participate confidently.

There may also be opportunities to contribute to performances, ensembles, clubs and wider enrichment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Degree or relevant specialist qualification in Music.
• Experience teaching secondary Music.
• Ability to demonstrate strong practical musicianship.
• Knowledge of GCSE Music requirements.
• Confident classroom-management and organisational skills.
• Experience with music technology would be an advantage.
