Job summary

UCM Education in London is seeking a confident Music Teaching Assistant to support a Secondary SEMH school in Tower Hamlets. This full-time role involves assisting in music lessons and studio sessions, using Logic Pro and studio gear to help students engage and develop creatively.

Applicants should have strong music skills and prior SEN/SEMH experience, with a calm, resilient attitude and proactive approach to managing complex behaviours. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, long-term potential.

• Encouraging engagement through music as a creative outlet for expression and development
• Assisting in planning and adapting music-based activities to meet individual needs
• Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support student progress

We are seeking a confident and passionate Music Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Secondary SEMH school in Tower Hamlets.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to work within a well-established team, supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs through creative and engaging music sessions.

You will be:
