Responsibilities:
  1. Assess people referred for therapy as part of a multidisciplinary needs assessment
  2. Plan & deliver therapy interventions and determine their effectiveness
  3. Provide a variety of work, including individual & group therapy
  4. Monitor, evaluate & adapt ongoing clinical work according to each individual’s needs
  5. Attend clinical meetings and communicate with colleagues, external agencies & families/carers
  6. Comply with relevant codes of practice, such as the HCPC
  7. Maintain & store equipment in a safe condition and attend to risk issues concerning its use
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified in Music Therapy
  • Registered with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council)
  • Experienced within a mental health setting, or with a passion for working in this type of setting
  • Understanding of mental health diagnosis
