As a CBT Therapist with Bupa Health Services, you'll use your training to support customers through education and therapy, focusing on their needs and well-being.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, safe, and effective CBT to Bupa customers aged 11-17 years.
  • Conduct assessments and develop formulations for evidence-based interventions.
  • Deliver services via telephone or video consultations based on client preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with agencies involved with the child's care, such as schools, local authorities, and families.
  • Adhere to sessional limits based on client insurance allowances and work towards therapeutic goals.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and guidelines, paying special attention to children's consent and safety.
  • Perform risk assessments and management planning with support from senior clinical leadership.
  • Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
  • Offer wellbeing support, coaching, assessments, and referrals on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Engage in group psychoeducation and mental health awareness activities through remote presentations, workshops, and training.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa's policies.
  • Attend regular clinical supervision sessions to support practice, in line with Bupa and professional standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • Experience providing high-intensity CBT interventions to children and young people, managing own caseload.
  • Over 2 years' experience in CYP mental health or CAMHS services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft systems and electronic medical records.
  • Strong safeguarding and risk assessment experience with children and young people.
  • Ability to present and deliver training workshops is preferred.
  • Right to work in the UK.
