Buckler's Mead Academy in Yeovil is seeking a part-time Music Technician to support classrooms, workshops and staff with safe handling of equipment and teaching materials. The role is 18.25 hours per week during term time only, plus 5 inset days, with a 6-month probationary period.

Having sustained another "Outstanding" set of results in Summer 2026, and following on from our Ofsted visit in May 2024 where we were judged as a strong 'Good' in all areas, Buckler's Mead Academy is going from strength to strength.
To prepare classrooms, workshops and wider facilities for use by staff and students, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.
To prepare, supply and collect teaching materials, displays, apparatus and equipment, providing technical assistance.
To support teaching staff and students on the safe and economic use of equipment and materials (including electrical equipment).
To work with teaching staff in the creation of new teaching resources and materials.
To ensure that classrooms and all equipment used are kept clean, tidy and in a safe condition.
