Job summary

You will join the professional security team at the Ashmolean Museum, part of the University of Oxford, helping to protect internationally significant collections while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors and contractors. As a part-time Security Officer, you will undertake a varied role combining security, customer service and operational support.

Your responsibilities include patrols, monitoring entrances, access control and CCTV operation, and you will respond to

Qualifications

• DBS clearance due to work in restricted areas
• Experience with CCTV and access control is desirable
• Ability to respond to incidents and emergencies

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor entrances

• Support risk assessments, evacuations and safety checks
