Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking an HCPC-registered podiatrist to deliver advanced musculoskeletal podiatry services within a community and prison setting, based at Parc Prison in Bridgend. You will manage a diverse caseload, provide triage, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in podiatry with specialist MSK experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex podiatry caseloads.
• Autonomous practitioner with leadership in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Welsh language skills at level 3 or above are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist autonomous podiatry services across MSK pathways.
• Deliver triage and management of referrals for podiatric conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with GPs, consultants, nurses and other AHPs.
• Lead service evaluation and contribute to research within the specialty.
• Ensure clinical governance and maintain high standards of documentation.
