Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust in West Lancashire is recruiting an HCPC registered Highly Specialist Podiatrist to lead our Community Podiatry Service on a 9-month fixed-term basis.

The role combines advanced clinical practice with team leadership, undertaking complex assessments, triage and programme development across community settings, with regular travel to multiple sites. Flexible working requests will be considered.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered podiatrist with leadership experience.
• Experience in community podiatry and triage of complex cases.
• Willingness to travel across sites in West Lancashire.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of clinical podiatry services within the defined area, ensuring quality and patient experience.
• Undertake high-level triage, complex assessments and diagnosis in advanced practice.
• Develop, implement and evaluate highly specialist programmes of care and service innovations.
