Job summary

John Lewis is seeking a warehouse operative to support stock handling for all channels. You will unload/load stock, record deliveries, move items within the warehouse and pick stock for deliveries. A strong focus on safety and accuracy is required; role involves heavy lifting.

Evening and night premiums apply (£2.75/hr 18:00-22:00; £3.75/hr 22:00-06:00). Prior warehousing and customer service experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills across verbal, written and telephone channels.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and related programmes.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load stock, accurately record deliveries into the warehouse system.
• Move stock around the warehouse to support deliveries and orders.
• Take ownership of stock presentation to ensure products reach customers in perfect condition.
• Promote and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment in line with health and safety requirements.
