Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking a multi-skilled handyperson to join the Estates Team. The role focuses on keeping buildings safe and well maintained with skills in plumbing, carpentry and electrical awareness. You will respond to faults and undertake repairs across sites, including decorating and basic installations.

Based at the Whiteleaf Centre, the role requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. A 24/7 on-call rota (1 week in 6) applies with enhanced pay for calls and an on-call

Qualifications

• Previous handyperson/property maintenance experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Experience in hospital or similar maintenance environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to building fabric (walls, doors, frames, plaster).
• Maintain plumbing and drainage systems (WC, leaks, unblocking).
• Carry out decorating and painting (internal/external).
• Maintain grounds and external fabric (drainage, guttering).
• Perform maintenance and light repairs.
• Install or mount shelves/notice boards.
