Job Description:

Equans is looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kingston upon Thames on a Permanent basis. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Working hours are Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift:

• Early - 08:00- 16:30
• Mid - 09:00- 17:30
• Late - 10:30- 19:00

Responsibilities include:

• Perform planned & reactive maintenance at Kingston student living sites (Seething Wells, Kingston Hill)
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests during and outside normal hours as part of the Out of Hours Rota
• Conduct quarterly shower head & hose cleaning in accordance with L8 standards (training provided)
• Monitor and maintain mechanical systems, fittings, and plantrooms
• Perform weekly fire alarm testing in student accommodations
• Conduct bi-annual Fire Door inspections (training provided), record faults and damages, and ensure necessary adjustments
• Address faults in domestic water supply & drainage systems, including resolving blocked toilets & drains, changing taps, shower valves, etc.

Candidate requirements:

• Desirable: Working knowledge of ACOP L8
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently or via instructions
• Proficient in computer use, organized, and administratively capable
• Full UK driving license
