Job summary

Elis UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Engineer to join our Northfleet site, ensuring safe, reliable operation through planned and reactive maintenance. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and work with Operations to minimise downtime while contributing ideas for site improvements.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience within manufacturing environments.
• Strong practical mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
• Ability to diagnose faults and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proactive, safety-focused with good decision-making.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Attention to detail with accurate CMMS record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery, equipment and infrastructure.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, identify root causes and implement repairs.
• Maintain equipment and site infrastructure to high standard for reliability.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and site performance.
• Collaborate with Production and other site teams and communicate effectively.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety requirements and standards.
• Complete inspections and maintenance records using the CMMS system.
• Support improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
