Job summary

Elis UK Ltd. is seeking a skilled Engineer to join the Inchinnan site and help keep our operation safe, efficient and reliable. You will support maintenance across machinery and infrastructure, diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.

Working in our Engineering team, you will contribute to improving performance, reduce downtime, and collaborate closely with Production to keep the site moving while following safety standards and using CMMS for records.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in a manufacturing, production or process-driven environment.
• Multiskilled: mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
• Experience with electrical circuits, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proactive, safety-first mindset and good decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to maximise reliability and minimise downtime across site machinery and infrastructure.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, identify root causes and implement repairs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and site infrastructure to high standards and operating as efficiently as possible.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and overall site performance.
• Build strong relationships with Production and other site teams and communicate effectively when issues arise.
• Ensure engineering activities follow site Health & Safety requirements and CMMS documentation.
