Job summary
Mars Petcare in Castle Cary is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our manufacturing facility. You will maintain production and packaging lines, delivering planned maintenance and rapid fault response to maximise uptime and safety.

Qualifications
- Qualified Engineer with apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Experience performing electrical and mechanical maintenance in manufacturing.
- Strong HSE knowledge including Permit to Work and LOTO.
- Excellent communication and teamwork; clear handovers.
- Own transport is essential due to site location.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and rapid fault repairs.
- Ensure safety, health and quality standards on site.
- Identify improvements to increase reliability and reduce waste.
- Maintain CMMS logs and deliver clear shift handovers.
