Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent role in Herefordshire. The successful candidate will maintain and repair factory machinery, carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance and fault finding to minimise production downtime in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, complete PPMs, assist with machine moves and installations, and work with contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities and fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and LV systems.
• FLT Reach licence holder required.

Responsibilities

• Attend machinery breakdowns, fault find and carry out repairs quickly to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment, including PPMs.
• Plan and prioritise maintenance work, log work in the CMMS.
• Assist with machine moves, installations and improvement projects, and work with contractors.
• Follow health and safety, quality and 5S standards at all times.
