Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced West Midlands facility in Telford. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and supporting improvements to keep production running efficiently.

Responsibilities include responding to breakdowns, executing planned and reactive maintenance, and working with contractors when required. A valid FLT Reach licence and reading engineering drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities and fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Understand how breakdowns and downtime affect production and deliveries.
• Electrical maintenance and LV systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend machinery breakdowns and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, including PPMs, and identify spares.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance work, log activities in the CMMS.
• Assist with machine moves, installations and improvement projects; coordinate with contractors.
