Job summary

Luton Bennett is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased) at a processing facility in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on processing machinery, with exposure to electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and motor drives.

The position works on a two-shift pattern (average 42.5 hours per week) with regular overtime and weekend rotation; training is available and candidates from any engineering background are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Electrical bias or multi-skilled engineering background.
• Willingness to work overtime; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on processing machinery.
• Work with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and motor drives.
• Maintain and support a livestock processing environment.
