Job summary

Arla Foods - Lockerbie Dairy & Creamery is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You will maintain and improve production line efficiency through fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As part of the engineering team, you will provide breakdown support, perform planned maintenance via the CMMS, and contribute to site development while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineer experience in FMCG/manufacturing environments.
• Time-served/apprentice-trained in electrical/mechanical/multi-skilled disciplines.
• Structured problem solving and RCA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide breakdown support on a 24/7 site from conveyors to filling and packing equipment.
• Carry out planned, preventative maintenance and servicing via the CMMS system.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and implement continuous improvement to raise efficiency.
• Champion health and safety by following SOPs and risk assessments.
• Support site projects and improvements across the facility.
