Job summary

Arla Foods Lockerbie is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced dairy facility. You will maintain and improve production line efficiency through fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives, across a 24/7 site with day and night shifts (4 on/5 off and 5 on/4 off).

The role offers strong career development, training, and exposure to state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications

Experience in FMCG/regulated manufacturing at pace.
Time served/apprentice trained as electrical, mechanical or multiskilled engineer.
Structured problem solving experience including RCA.
Computer literacy – SAP PM or similar CMMS system, MS Office.

Responsibilities

Provide breakdown support across a 24/7 site including conveyors and fully automated milk filling and packing equipment.
Carry out planned, preventative maintenance and servicing via CMMS.
Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns using structured problem solving and drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency.
Champion health and safety by following SOPs and participating in risk assessments.
Support and contribute to site projects and development initiatives.
