Job summary

Arla Foods’ Stourton Dairy is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer to ensure continuous operation of filling lines, chilling systems and conveyors on a 24/7 site. You will resolve breakdowns, perform planned maintenance via CMMS, and drive improvements with a proactive, safety-focused approach.

You’ll join an engineering team at Stourton Dairy on a 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern, bringing time-served engineering expertise from FMCG environments and strong knowledge of SAP PM or CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, food or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills including RCA and fault-finding.
• Proficient with SAP PM or CMMS tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical breakdown support across complex production lines.
• Carry out planned, preventative maintenance and servicing via CMMS.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Champion health and safety standards and participate in risk assessments.
• Support site projects and contribute to performance improvements.
