Job summary

Finsbury Food Group in East Kilbride is seeking a qualified multi-skilled engineer to maintain a wide range of production equipment, applying electrical and mechanical skills to keep lines running and compliant with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and GMP.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, log activity in Mainsaver, support improvement projects, and coach operators to develop basic asset care skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG, preferably food production.
• Experience with CMMS and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and GMP.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and identify root causes.
• Record activity, duration, and materials in CMMS (Mainsaver).
• Support projects, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives.
• Coach operators to develop basic asset care skills.
