Job summary

CV Technical Limited is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in Corby. The role is hands-on, focused on keeping production equipment running smoothly through planned and reactive maintenance and minimising downtime.

You will perform PPM, fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems, and work across a range of machinery. The position operates on a 3-shift rotation (Mornings/Afternoons/Nights) on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Experience fault-finding on industrial machinery.
• Recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and breakdown response.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime.
• Working on a range of manufacturing and production machinery.
• Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
• Completing maintenance records and reporting faults.

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment?

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and helping to minimise downtime across the site.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
