Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Forklift Driver / 3.5 tonne Driver / Warehouse Operative for our Canvey Island site. The role involves counterbalance and reach forklift operation, 3.5 tonne driving, warehouse duties, stock handling, and basic handyman tasks.

Hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour break. This temporary position offers a busy, team-focused environment with varied daily tasks and opportunities to develop new skills.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licences (counterbalance and reach) required.
• Full UK driving licence with 6+ points; no DD/DDRs.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow guidelines and work independently.
• Hands-on, organised and willing to take on new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts.
• Put orders together in the warehouse.
• Support with stock control and general warehouse duties.
• Assist with basic handyman tasks and site maintenance.
• Drive 3.5 tonne vehicle for local deliveries (2–5 per week).
• Maintain tidy, safe work environment.
