Job summary

Its Building People is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver for our Fareham site. The role blends forklift duties with general warehouse tasks, stock handling and supporting the team. Approximately 30-40% of time is forklift work, with the remainder in warehouse duties to keep orders moving.

Salary is £30,000–£31,000, hours 07:30–16:30, Type: 12 week Temp to Perm. This is an excellent chance to secure a permanent role with a well-established company after a successful temporary period.

• Experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
• Comfortable handling large, long and heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach, Counterbalance and multi-directional forklifts as required.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Handle long and awkward materials (plastics, timber, steel).
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Support the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
