Job summary

Interaction Recruitment seeks a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative in Wellingborough for a temporary-to-permanent role in a busy warehouse. The job blends forklift duties with general warehouse tasks to ensure accurate order processing and stock control.

Responsibilities include operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts, loading/unloading, picking/packing orders, and using scanners with the warehouse management system. Must hold valid licences and demonstrate reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
• Valid Reach Truck licence.
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles using forklift trucks and other MHE.
• Move stock to designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Carry out stock replenishment and inventory checks.
• Handball loose cartons and materials when required.
• Check incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Following all company health & safety policies and procedures.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
