Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. in Wisbech seeks a multi-skilled Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance and improvements to production equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

You will fault find and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, maintain PLC-controlled machines, perform PPMs, respond to breakdowns, support site improvements, and uphold food safety and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified, skilled engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience/knowledge.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Proactive, flexible and team-focused approach.
• Good communication and basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repair on mechanical & electrical equipment.
• Maintaining PLC-controlled machinery.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement across the site.
• Ensuring high standards of food safety and health & safety.
