Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) invites applications for a Shift Technician (Electrical or Mechanical). The role supports a high‑tech facility in central London, delivering day‑to‑day maintenance of plant and building MEP services under the Client GRP.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, assist in commissioning, and contribute to safety and efficiency improvements while working in a collaborative team with strong client focus.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Level 3 NVQ Electrical Installation (City & Guilds 2357).
• Inspection and Testing Certification (City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395).
• Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing and Domestic Heating.
• Level 3 NVQ in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Systems (+ F-Gas).
• IOSH qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building MEP services per GRP and SOPs.
• Record maintenance activities in CMMS with full history.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover of new services.
• Conduct risk assessments and comply with safety regulations.
• Monitor and optimize Building Management Systems and IoT controls.
• Perform light electrical/mechanical installations and fabric maintenance.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.
