Job summary

A higher education provider based in the UK is searching for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This role involves maintaining, installing, and refurbishing facilities across the UK estates portfolio. The successful candidate will perform preventative and reactive maintenance while ensuring health, safety, and compliance. Qualifications

• Certification in 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is mandatory.
• Experience required in building maintenance with M&E systems.
• Must demonstrate manual skills and knowledge of refurbishment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and refurbish facilities across GBS estates.
• Undertake repairs and renovations as needed.
• Monitor condition of buildings and manage documentation.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems

Manual skills and refurbishment knowledge

Flexible and proactive work approach

Familiarity with COSHH requirements

Interpersonal skills

Full, Clean Driving License
